1. Scope of Services

TheBuildersRoom is a service-driven platform designed to facilitate the procurement and delivery of building materials in Ghana.

• Not a Marketplace: We are not a traditional open marketplace. We act as a trusted intermediary between you (the client) and our network of vetted suppliers.
• Our Role: We source quotes, verify quality, facilitate payments, and coordinate delivery logistics. We do not manufacture the goods ourselves.

2. User Responsibilities

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Information Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and when placing orders.
• Acceptable Use: You may not use our platform for any illegal purpose or to harass, abuse, or harm others.

3. Quotes, Payments & Pricing

• Consolidated Quotes: We provide consolidated quotes from vetted suppliers. These quotes are valid for a specific period as indicated on the quote.
• Payments: All payments must be made through our approved payment channels. We may support partial payments for certain large orders, subject to approval functionality on the platform.
• Pricing Changes: Prices of building materials can fluctuate. If a price changes significantly between the time of your quote and payment, we will notify you before proceeding.

4. Delivery & Quality Assurance

• Delivery Coordination: We coordinate delivery with independent logistics partners. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, or site accessibility.
• Site Access: You are responsible for ensuring the delivery site is accessible.
• Quality Checks: We perform quality checks on materials before dispatch. However, you or your representative must also inspect materials upon delivery.

5. Dispute Resolution & Refunds

• Material Issues: If you believe delivered materials are defective or incorrect, you must notify us immediately upon delivery (within 24 hours).
• Verification Process: We do not offer immediate automated refunds. All claims are subject to a verification process. We will investigate with the supplier and logistics partner.
• Resolution: If a valid issue is found, we will arrange for a replacement or a refund, depending on the circumstances.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheBuildersRoom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data.

• Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or major infrastructure failures.
• Supplier Failures: While we vet our suppliers rigorously, we are not liable for manufacturing defects that are not reasonably detectable during our quality checks.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
